Its with great pleasure we can confirm that the Ironbridge Half Marathon is planned to take place this year with the rescheduled date being confirmed as 01 November 2020.
When looking for a suitable date to reschedule the event we had a number of things to consider, non more so than selecting a date in the year that gave us the best opportunity to be over the current Coronavirus situation. We looked at many dates throughout the year, but felt a date later in the year gave everyone the best chance to recover from Coronavirus, but also get their training back in place and give enough time to plan your race diaries.
If anyone can not make the new date, we will be opening transfers again very soon for runners to find, and transfer their place to another runner. Details of when we will be opening transfers, and how to go about transferring your place will be announced shortly.
